Our Work
MAO Football Academy is a refugee-focused football and youth development programme that empowers children and young people from refugee and host communities.
We use football as a pathway to help young people develop their talents, build confidence, strengthen relationships and gain essential life skills. Through a safe and inclusive environment, we give every child the opportunity to participate, learn, grow and reach their potential, both on and off the pitch.

Who we serve
MAO Football Academy primarily creates opportunities for:
● Refugee children and young people
● National/host-community children and young people
● Girls and boys
● Young players aged U3–U18, depending on the program.
● Young people interested in football, personal development and community participation
We believe that football should be accessible to everyone.

Our Approach
At MAO Football Academy, we use football to empower children and young people through talent development, wellbeing, education and social inclusion. We create a safe space where refugee and host-community children can build confidence, develop their potential and belong, both on and off the pitch.
