Girls empowerment
MAO Football Academy | Empowering Girls, Developing Talent, Creating Opportunities Through Football.
Team Profile
Empowering Girls Through Football
MAO Football Academy uses football to empower girls from refugee and host communities. Through a safe and inclusive environment, girls develop their skills, build confidence and strengthen their leadership abilities while exploring opportunities to grow and pursue their ambitions on and off the pitch.
Talent Development and Opportunities
MAO Football Academy supports girls to develop their football skills, discipline and teamwork through structured training. We aim to prepare talented players for competitive football and future opportunities in the sport while promoting confidence, resilience and personal growth on and off the pitch.
Refugee and Host-Community Inclusion
MAO Football Academy brings refugee and Ugandan girls together through football, promoting friendship, inclusion and mutual understanding. We create opportunities for girls to develop their talents, challenge stereotypes and be recognised for their potential, regardless of their background or circumstances.
Our Vision for Girls in Football
MAO Football Academy envisions a future where every girl can access football, develop her talent and pursue her ambitions. We are building more than a team; we are empowering girls, nurturing talent and creating opportunities for the next generation.
